Moore ...  Potteries, Pottery Museums, Pottery Associations, Pottery Web sites & Pottery Supplies.

Although we call this "Moore Potteries" we would be doing the people of Moore County, our visitors, as well as the potteries themselves a great disservice if we did not list every pottery that we could find in the region. Nature itself originally set the geographic limits to this area (its down to the availability of the right type of clay). Although today most of the potters buy their clay in from Atlanta. It should be noted that a very few still dig and process their own clay. (If you are, or know who they are tell us and we will note it  on their listing).

As we have stated before this web site is an ongoing informational resource, it is our intention to eventually link each pottery to their web site or at least to a web page so you will have an idea of what they are capable of, and to see their style. If you are an owner of a pottery and you would like us to link to your site please use a contact form to let us know. Or we can create a web page for you here with photographs and an article about your work. (For a lot less than you would ever imagine) call us !

Memorialize your departed pet with a traditional pottery grave marker.  A pottery marker will serve as a lasting yet subtle memorial to your dog, cat, horse, rabbit, or any pet that you hold dear.  Pottery markers are made to order by a noted Seagrove, North Carolina potter.  You specify the design, size, and inscription.  Crematory urns are available as well.
