• On long flights don't try to make a fashion statement, wear loose comfortable clothing.
• Drink plenty of water.
• Don't drink alcohol  - It dehydrates you even more than the dry air in the cabin. If you must, drink two glasses of water for each alcoholic drink.
• Try to get up and walk up and down the aisle about once every hour. This helps to stop thrombosis, (it could save your life).
